What to Expect at the Testing Center
Document Check
Bring a non-expired government-issued identification with name, photograph, and signature (see details)
Security Check
Test takers must show their arms and ankles, empty their pockets, and undergo a scan with a handheld metal detector before entering the testing room (see details)
Sign In
Upon signing in, test center staff will provide scratch paper and you’ll be taken to your seat (see details)
Take Exam
Your exam will begin with brief instructions, followed by 30 questions to be completed within 3 hours, and conclude with a post-exam survey (see details)
Get Results
Instant results will be emailed within an hour after completing the exam (see details)
Passing Exam
If you pass the exam and have not taken Exam FM, that will be your next step. If you’ve already passed FM, the next exam will be MAS-1 for CAS or FAM/SRM for SOA.
